The West Texas Music Hall of Fame tells the story of some of the greatest music performers and songwriters in American History.

The West Texas Music Hall Of Fame was established in 1995 (non-profit) with the sole purpose of recognizing the creative artists who were born or resided in this geographic area, chronicling each artist’s biographical information, collecting and preserving their works and personal memorabilia in the interest of education, personal enjoyment and historical documentation.

It is part of a large and growing family of Texas libraries and archives as listed in the Texas Music Office (Office of the Governor) directory.

To honor, preserve and advocate the creative talent from West Texas which is as vast as the region itself, through preservation, development and education.
The largest and most comprehensive collection of important Texas music memorabilia in the state.
